Our goals
Community Engagement
Our community is excited to be re-engaging with Canberra and Regional NSW in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Where safe we would like to continue our participation in Canberra's Multicultural Festival, Independence celebrations, fundraisers, participation in the Interstate Wantoks Sporting Championships and continue to mingle with High Commission staff.

We also have outlined new goals for our community which include increased government, organisation, and business partnerships and grant funding. We would like to partner with existing initiatives in our region and offer our cultural perspectives and community support to those we believe align with our values.
Being a voice for our community
We would like to continue to fundraise and advocate for our community in the diaspora and back home. We would also like to support our families and friends back home as they live through the effects of climate change and, in recent years, civil unrest. Therefore our goal is to become a stronger voice for our Solomon community with access to relevant government initiatives so that we may empower our community.

This also includes taking more targeted action to record our achievements and document our history so that we can relay this information to the public and showcase our position within the ACT and regional NSW community.
